Certification and Recertification for State Contract Managers
The Nevada Certified Contract Manager (NVCCM) program is required pursuant to the State Administrative Manual (SAM) for all State of Nevada employees whose responsibilities include managing agency contracting activities. The course is designed to cover the more complex aspects of State contracting, with an emphasis on the service contracting process under the State Purchasing Act (NRS 333). A passing score on the exam is required for certification. Once certified, participants may request access to the Contract Entry Tracking System (CETS). Recertification is required every two years.
We are in the process of moving the certification program online. More information about online training will be available soon.
